The following terms and conditions are applied for guided tours and services offered and delivered by GREEN AND BLUE in Rovaniemi and in any other area where services are operated. Related products or services follow the same regulations, as mentioned below.

Green and Blue offer tours with a specialization on children and Slow traveling. By booking a tour with Green and Blue you fully understand and acknowledge as well as agree to the terms and conditions set below.

Services and Prices:

Prices: Green and Blue reserves the right to change prices at any point, without prior notice in the event of currency fluctuation, government taxes, or any such cost increases that are outside Green and Blue's control. Green and Blue hold all prices on https://www.slowtravelgreenandblue.com/ and cannot be held responsible for any price differences from partners or reselling platforms. The given prices include VAT according to the Taxation Laws and Regulations of Finland.

General Safety:

All Participants are strictly forbidden to walk on lakes or rivers, even if frozen. The Participants are fully aware of the life danger. Parents are fully responsible at all times for their children. Accidents or sickness must be reported immediately to the guide. We are also not responsible for slippery or icy areas or walkpaths and ask to always watch out for own safety.

For the safety of young adults and children filming and publishing inside the car and premises is forbidden. We highly value children and their privacy (incl.our guides). Do not publish children/ young adult faces of other families/people online. Adults can only participate if they understand basic English for their safety.

Green and Blue reserves the right to cancel a tour if there is extreme cold or other severe weather changes.

Green and Blue does also not allow any form of perfume, alcohol, cigarettes or similar substances during the entire duration of the booked activity (including the car ride). Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited. Guests are furthermore asked to refrain from using strong perfume. Insurance:

Green and Blue recommend everyone to have personal travel insurance. Green and Blue do not cover personal belongings, accidents, sickness, or death. All our participants fully understand that the service can come with extreme cold, darkness, snow, and ice. By participating in our tours and services you fully understand a risk to health or safety. Green and Blue is not responsible for those risks.

During all tours, we carry oil or electrical lamps as well as firewood for bonfires with us. Green and Blue can’t be held responsible for any damage caused by fire or oil.

Trash will be collected and sorted after the tour. Do not burn trash in the bonfire; hand it over to your tour guide.
Green and Blue are not responsible for possible related costs, such as cancellations, injuries, flight delays, weather, or natural disasters. Green and Blue demands correct contact information and is not responsible for changes that do not reach customers in time.

Child safety:

Green and Blue offer tours especially for children. All participants are obligated to give information about age, weight and size for the right safety car seat to Green and Blue. Green and Blue needs the information at least 12 hours before the tour starts. Green and Blue reserved the right to refuse to take children with them if the information is not given, is incorrect or the child is put in danger. Green and Blue has the right to cancel at any safety doubt without explanation. If the tour is declined by Green and Blue the child as well as one caring parent will be fully refunded.

Parents are fully responsible at all times for their children. Sickness or any other possible danger during the tour must be reported immediately to the guide.
Green and Blue has an age limit for infants and children with a minimum of 9+ months and weight of 7+ kilos; therefore the child cannot be younger to attend in any winter tour. Please bring no stroller with you.

Cancellation terms:

In case of cancellation, for any reason, send immediately an email to info@slowtravelgreenandblue.com and a phone message with your name and tour to +358 40 3608158. Green and Blue reserves the right to decline or accept any request to amend the booking.

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is canceled 24 hours or less before the event,
a cancellation fee of 50% if the booking is canceled 7 days or less before the event,
a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event,

In case the subcontractor’s or third-party supplier’s cancellation terms are stricter, their cancellation terms will be followed. Refunds according to Green and Blue conditions will be refunded within 6 weeks or longer through worldwide transaction times.

Service language: The official languages in all services are English & German.

Pick-up & Drop-off Services:

Green and Blue offers various pick-up and drop-off stations in and around Rovaniemi. Please be there 10 min before the scheduled time. All guests are responsible for being at the correct time at the correct Pickup point. Green and Blue will not wait for guests who are late. The tour will start without the guests and no refund or reschedule is accepted.

Green and Blue do only pick up and drop off within 7km of Rovaniemi. An exception to this rule is the Apukka Resort and Santa Claus Village since it is on the way to our private Lakeside.

Images & short videos:

All Northern Light pictures and short videos may be used for Green and Blue digital advertisement, including day/night tours. By participating and booking a tour with Green and Blue all customers consent to digital content created for self advertisement for Green and Blue. Participants who do not want this must inform Green and Blue in written form with their full name by email before the tour starts. Our pictures are only jepeg or png and we do not give away raw pictures or videos. All photos will be only transferred digitally, due to data protection therefore there is no international shipment possible.
